Though the economic environment has been challenging the past few years, we are excited about the future. We have successfully diversified into new market segments while focusing on providing our customers with the highest quality manufacturing solutions and improving all of our processes.
In 1974 Lee Brumit, a talented machinist, was producing precision manufacturing designs created by NASA scientists at the University of Texas at Dallas. An opportunity arose to begin a company of his own, so he borrowed $1,100 from a local bank, purchased a used machine to place in his garage, and thus KARLEE was born.
KARLEE is aware of the interactions that our products and activities may have on the environment, and we recognize the importance of conducting business in an ecologically sound manner.
KARLEE maintains business practices that minimize/prevent noise, air and material pollution, while maximizing the recycling of waste. Environmental performance objectives and targets are set during strategic planning and reviewed by KARLEE’s Senior Leadership. We take a proactive approach to ensure proper handling of in-house coolant, recycling and material storage.
Our Quality Management System begins with our Team Members. We believe quality products come from quality people. Karlee Team Members are provided the training resources and tools to produce, meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
